Michael Perrault of P.M.P. Associates, the applicants’ engineering firm, told Board members that he had complied with all of the requests from Land Planning, Inc., their review engineer. A July 25, 2009 review letter from Land Planning recommended approval by the Board.
Board members said that the reference to the fence and propane tank on an abutter’s property should be removed from the notes to the plans as well as the reference to a one-year warranty on trees. Board members also said that both Parcels A and B should be conveyed to abutters.
Nicole Gorman of Captain Nathaniel Drive expressed concern relative to the existing trees and proposed plantings in the area of the subdivision that abuts her property. She suggested the planting of white pine and red maple trees and provided the Board with pictures of the existing view from her pool. The Board said of the 20 plantings proposed five should be large trees and 15 smaller plantings. Mr. Perrault said that existing mature trees will be left alone.
